Access: From Winfield Hwy 97, turn east onto Beaver Lake Road. The paved portion of the road is usually poor, but the gravel portions are normally well maintained. Drive 15 km, and at Beaver Lake Resort, turn left onto Dee Forest Service Road. Travel an additional 9.5 km to Island Lake which will be located on the right (east) side of the road. <BR> <BR> Alternatively, access from Lavington. Travel 16.25 km up Aberdeen Forest Service Road and turn right onto Dee Lake FSR, and Island Lake is 9.5 km on the left side of the road (east).
