Getting to Bolean Lake
1 resort, complete with cabins, smoke house, store, ice house, and boat rentals can be found on Bolean. A very scenic timbered 8 vehicle BCFS campsite with a good cartop boat launch can also be found on the lake.
9.8 km of traced road to the campground by way of Bolean Lake FSR, Bolean Lake Rd and Silvernails Rd. The road at the end is a rough surface.

Access: br></br> Follow Hwy 97 just outside of Falkland. South-east of Falkland, turn north onto Silvernails Rd. 4wd is recommended for Bolean forest service road. <br></br> Set odometer to 0 at the first cattleguard. At 1km, turn left onto Bolean Rd. After 1.4km, the road turns from paved to gravel. At 2.6km, the Bolean Rd FSR starts. At 9.3km, turn left and travel an additional 500m to Bolean Lake Recreation Site.
